Statisphere is New Zealand's official statistics portal – enabling users, producers and researchers to find available information about New Zealand's Official Statistics System.

Statisphere is an important element in strengthening and coordinating official statistics on a whole-of-government basis. This portal includes:

• information about official statistics and the Official Statistics System (OSS) 
• a listing of the most important statistics (Tier 1 statistics) 
• the principles and protocols for producers of Tier 1 statistics 
• other supporting statistical resources.
