The work programme developed by Statistics New Zealand has five components:
- Reviews of Official Statistics, which will link information needs to the priorities for statistical development work. Click here for more information on the reviews.
- Four Programme Development Plans containing statistical development work on:
- statistical infrastructure
- administrative data and data integration
- census and surveys
- analysis and dissemination.
- While some activity is underway in building statistical infrastructure and examining the potential of administrative data and data integration to create new official statistics, the focus in 2008/09 is on the continued development of the survey programme, the reviews of official statistics and statistical architecture and population statistics.
